1. Introduction


1.1 Overview

Dou Line ("we," "us," or "our") provides users with a second phone number service that allows them to make and receive calls, send and receive messages using an additional phone number. Our service aims to provide users with flexibility, privacy, and convenience.


1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Dou Line services (the "Services", the app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced within. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Account Registration and Use


2.1 Eligibility and Registration

To use Dou Line, you must be at least 13 years old and legally capable of forming a binding contract. By downloading and opening the app, an account is automatically registered and bound to the device id of your mobile or tablet. You may be required to bind your other 3rd party account, such as social media account and phone number, to make your account more more secure and safer. You represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.


2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Dou Line will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.


2.3 Use Restrictions

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

  • Use the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Services or interfere with any other party’s use of the Services.
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic devices, process, or means to access the Services for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on the Services.
  • Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Services, the server on which the Services are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Services.
  • Use the Services to violate any applicable laws or regulations, infringe on the rights of others, or engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services.

    3.1 Overview of Services

    Dou Line provides users with second phone number services, enabling them to make and receive calls, and send and receive messages using an additional phone number. These services include, but are not limited to, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calling, SMS, and MMS functionalities.     3.2 Features

  • Second Phone Number: Users can obtain multiple phone numbers for personal or business use, avoiding the need to carry multiple devices.
  • VoIP Calling: Make and receive high-quality voice calls using an internet connection.
  • Messaging: Send and receive SMS and MMS messages, including pictures and videos.
  • Privacy: Protect your personal number by using a second phone number for online transactions, dating, or any other situation where privacy is a concern.
  • Portability: Use your Dou Line number across various devices, including smartphones and tablets.

  • 3.3 Free and Paid Services

    Dou Line offers both free and paid services. Free services may include basic VoIP calling and messaging with some limitations. Paid services provide additional features such as premium numbers with area code customization, ad-free experience, call recording, and more. Users can choose from various subscription plans that best suit their needs.

    4. User Responsibilities


    4.1 Compliance with Laws

    Users agree to use Dou Line services in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, laws regarding privacy, intellectual property, and the transmission of technical data exported from your country of residence.


    4.2 Account Security

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify Dou Line immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Dou Line will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your account, either with or without your knowledge.


    4.3 Prohibited Activities

    Users agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Misuse of Services: You may not use the services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or to promote any unlawful activities.
  • Harmful Conduct: You must not harass, abuse, or harm other users or any individuals or entities, nor incite others to do so.
  • Spamming: You are prohibited from using the services to send unsolicited messages (spam).
  • Impersonation and Fraud: You must not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Adult Content: adult related content is not allowed. Words or sentences including but not limited to sensitive sextural, pornographic and erotic, genital related, is not allowed,
  • Violation of Intellectual Property Rights: You may not use the services in any manner that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

  • 4.4 Fair Use

    Dou Line services are provided for personal and non-commercial use only. Excessive use of the services that exceeds normal usage patterns or is indicative of fraudulent or abusive activity may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

    5. Fees and Payment


    5.1 General

    Dou Line offers both free and paid services. While certain features of the services may be available free of charge, other features may require payment. All fees are detailed on our website and within the app. By using the paid services, you agree to the pricing, payment, and billing policies applicable to such fees, as posted in the app or on the website.


    5.2 Subscription Plans

    Dou Line offers various subscription plans for premium services. Subscription fees will be billed at the start of your subscription and on each renewal thereafter, unless and until you cancel your subscription. You agree to pay all charges incurred under your account for any subscription plan in which you or anyone else who uses your account enrolls.


    5.3 Payment Methods

    Dou Line accepts various forms of payment, including credit cards and other forms of electronic payment. You must provide accurate and complete payment information and notify us of any changes to such information promptly. By providing your payment information, you authorize Dou Line to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.


    5.4 Account Balance Validity Period

    Your account balance has validity period. A successful recharge will extend your account balance validity period to 180 days from the moment of the recharge. A successful earning of free credits will extend your account balance validity period 30 days from the moment, if your account balance validity period is less than 30 days. The free credits include credits earned from daily check-in, daily tasks, watching ads, games, or coupons. Your account balance validity period could be found within the app at Settings. It's your responsibility to check and spend your balance before it expires.


    5.5 Cancellation and Refunds

    You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation of the free trial subscription, all resources assigned to your account will be revoked. Upon cancellation of a paid subscription, you will continue to have access to the premium features until the end of the current billing period. Dou Line does not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods.


    5.6 Changes to Fees

    Dou Line reserves the right to change its fees and billing methods at any time, either immediately upon posting on the website, in the app, or by email delivery to you.

    6. Termination and Suspension


    6.1 Termination by User

    You may terminate your use of Dou Line services at any time by discontinuing use of the app and deleting your account through the account settings. Upon termination, you will no longer have access to the services, and any data associated with your account may be deleted.


    6.2 Termination by Dou Line

    Dou Line reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the services, at its sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Breach of Terms: Violation of these Terms of Use or any other policy or guidelines set forth by Dou Line.
  • Prohibited Activities: Engagement in prohibited activities as described in Section 4.
  • Non-payment: Failure to pay any fees owed for paid services.

  • 6.3 Effect of Termination

    Upon termination of your account, your right to use the services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms of Use that, by their nature, should survive termination, shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.


    6.4 Reinstatement

    If your account is terminated by Dou Line, you may contact customer support to request reinstatement. Dou Line has sole discretion to determine whether to reinstate your account and may impose additional conditions on such reinstatement.

    7. Privacy and Data Protection

    Your privacy is critically important to us. Dou Line is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.     8. Intellectual Property


    8.1 Ownership of Content

    All content, features, and functionality provided by Dou Line, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, and digital downloads, are the exclusive property of Dou Line or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.


    8.2 License to Use

    Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Dou Line grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the services for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the services or their contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of the services or their contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.


    8.3 Restrictions

    You are prohibited from:

  • Modifying, copying, reproducing, republishing, uploading, posting, transmitting, or distributing in any way any material from the services.
  • Using any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences, or any graphics separately from the accompanying text.
  • Deleting or altering any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the services.
  • Accessing or using for any commercial purposes any part of the services or any services or materials available through the services without obtaining a license to do so from us or our licensors.

  • 8.4 Trademarks

    The Dou Line name, the Dou Line logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Dou Line or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of Dou Line. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on the services are the trademarks of their respective owners.


    8.5 Copyright Infringement

    Dou Line respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is our policy to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are believed to be repeatedly infringing the rights of copyright holders. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the services.
  • Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  • 9. User Conduct


    9.1 Prohibited Activities

    You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Impersonating or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Accessing, using, or attempting to access or use another user's account without permission.
  • Engaging in any illegal or unauthorized activity, including but not limited to, violating any applicable laws, regulations, or legal obligations.
  • Using the service for any commercial purpose without express permission from Dou Line.
  • Sending unsolicited messages, including but not limited to, spam, advertising, and promotional materials.
  • Uploading, transmitting, or distributing any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the services.
  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, worms, or other malicious software or code.
  • Attempting to use any method to gain unauthorized access to any features or portions of the services.

  • 9.2 Responsibility for Content

    You are solely responsible for the content you post, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available via the services. You must ensure that your content does not infringe any third-party rights, including but not limited to, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and publicity rights.


    9.3 Monitoring and Enforcement

    Dou Line reserves the right to monitor and review user activity and content on the services to ensure compliance with these Terms. Dou Line may remove or disable access to any content that, in its sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. Dou Line may also terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms or for any other reason, at its sole discretion, without notice.


    9.4 Reporting Violations

    If you become aware of any violation of these Terms by any user, you must immediately report it to Dou Line at douline@idous.app. Dou Line may investigate any reported violations and take any action it deems appropriate, including but not limited to, issuing warnings, removing content, and terminating accounts.

    10. Third-Party Services and Links


    10.1 Third-Party Services

    The services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Dou Line. These third-party services are provided for your convenience and are not under our control. Dou Line does not endorse, monitor, or have any control over any third-party websites, services, or resources.


    10.2 Use of Third-Party Services

    When you access third-party services through our app, you do so at your own risk. Dou Line is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of such third-party services, nor for the content, products, or services available from such third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by the terms and policies of the respective third-party services.


    10.3 Linking to Third-Party Services

    You may establish a link to our services, provided that the link does not imply any sponsorship or endorsement of your site by Dou Line. You must remove any link to our services upon our request.


    10.4 Responsibility

    You acknowledge and agree that Dou Line shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any third-party services.

    11. Modification of Terms


    11.1 Right to Modify

    Dou Line reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. When changes are made, we will notify you by making the revised version available on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes.


    11.2 Acceptance of Modified Terms

    By continuing to access or use the Services after the revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Services.


    11.3 Notification of Changes

    We may also provide additional forms of notice of modifications or updates as appropriate under the circumstances. This may include, for example, email notifications, in app notifications, sms notifications, if you have provided us with your contact information.


    11.4 Governing Law and Disputes

    Changes to these Terms shall not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to such changes. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

    12. Termination


    12.1 Termination by User

    You may terminate your account at any time by ceasing to use the Services and uninstalling the Dou Line app from your devices. You are not entitled to any refunds or compensation for termination.


    12.2 Termination by Dou Line

    We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, illegal or harmful conduct, or discontinuation of the Services.


    12.3 Effects of Termination

    Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease, and you must immediately cease all use of the Services and delete all copies of the app from your devices. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.


    12.4 Disputes After Termination

    Any disputes arising from or relating to the termination of your account or the termination of these Terms will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of these Terms.

    13. Governing Law and Disputes


    13.1 Governing Law

    These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dou Line operates, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.


    13.2 Dispute Resolution

    In the event of any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach thereof, the parties shall first attempt to settle the dispute through good faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association or another mutually agreed upon arbitration body.


    13.3 Arbitration Process

    The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator, selected in accordance with the rules of the arbitration body. The place of arbitration shall be in the jurisdiction where Dou Line operates. The language of arbitration shall be English or Chinese. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.


    13.4 Class Action Waiver

    You agree that any arbitration shall be conducted in your individual capacity only and not as a class action or other representative action, and you expressly waive your right to file a class action or seek relief on a class basis. If any court or arbitrator determines that the class action waiver set forth in this section is void or unenforceable for any reason, or that an arbitration can proceed on a class basis, then the arbitration provision set forth above shall be deemed null and void in its entirety and the parties shall be deemed to have not agreed to arbitrate disputes.


    13.5 Waiver of Jury Trial

    The parties hereby waive their right to a trial by jury in any action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms.

    14. Miscellaneous Provisions


    14.1 Entire Agreement

    These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dou Line regarding the use of the Service. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, and understandings, whether written or oral.


    14.2 Severability

    If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be fully valid, binding, and enforceable. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified so that it is valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.


    14.3 Waiver

    The failure of Dou Line to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Dou Line.


    14.4 Assignment

    You may not assign your rights or delegate your obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of Dou Line. Any purported assignment or delegation in violation of this section is null and void. Dou Line may freely assign its rights and delegate its obligations under these Terms without notice to you.


    14.5 Relationship of Parties

    These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Dou Line. You do not have any authority of any kind to bind Dou Line in any respect whatsoever.


    14.6 Force Majeure

    Dou Line will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, supply shortages, and pandemics.


    14.7 Notices

    Dou Line may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to these Terms, by email, in app notification, or postings on the Service. You consent to receive notices by these means and agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that Dou Line provides to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
