Welcome to Dou Line! The Dou Line mobile application (the software, the app) is owned and operated by Yilian Internet Technology Co., Ltd. ("Yilian", "we", "us", "our" or other similar pronouns). We dedicated to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our services ("Dou Line", "Services", or "services").   • Email Address: Used for account creation, communication, and password recovery.
  • Phone Number: Used for providing our calling and messaging services.
  • Contact List: Accessed with your permission to enable communication features within the app, such as the direct phone calls, sending text and querying rates of the phone number. A simplified copy of the address book with information such as the name, phone number, and ringtone of each contact will be stored, and used to display the identity of the call. All the contact list information will be removed permanently once the user uninstalled the app. In the call/text or query function cases, the phone number will be sent to our server to complete the core function, but will not stored in our server. In all other cases, all your contact list info will not be uploaded to our server, or any third party server. All your contact list info is only stored in your local device, within the App.
  • Demographic Information: like age, gender or preferences may also be collected by us. And we might ask you to make a publicly-visible profile which may contain your name and photo. Such information may be used to provide personalized content and information for you and others, including online ads or other forms of marketing. When you register with a third-party account, we may obtain information such as age, gender, address or portrait from your third-party account and use it to complete your profile. All this information is optional and depends on the design of the function.

    We collect information about the device you use to access our app, which helps us optimize our services and improve user experience. This includes:

  • Device Model: To ensure compatibility and performance.

  • Location Information: Needed for certain features. Some functions, like "Find Nearby Friends", also keep your location information on our servers and share it with other users.   • Other Device-related Information: The type and version of the mobile web browser, location details, MCC (Mobile Country Code) information, the name of the mobile application, and other technical data about your device will be acquired and utilized as identification information for detecting, investigating, preventing, or addressing technical issues or illegal activities. Moreover, a list of specific mobile applications installed on your device will also be collected in order to provide certain functionalities, such as signing in through a third-party service or sharing messages on other third-party apps and services.
